Smoky eyes add a dramatic effect to any Halloween look. You can create the ultimate smoky eyes, with black and metallic colours. Blend a dark shade from your lashes to the crease, and then, use a small, angled brush to drag the shadow along your lower lash lines. Add silver, white to create a shimmery and sexy element. There shouldn’t be any harsh lines when you’re applying eyeshadow, make sure you blend all colours evenly.
Go to Boots and try the Miss Sporty Studio Colour Quattro Eyeshadow for just £2.99. You can also pick up a No7 Smudger Brush for £8.
To build on your smoky, dramatic eyes how about wearing some fake eyelashes? Bodycare offers a variety of lashes for discount prices or Superdrug has a great range of Halloween lashes.
Try Eylure Halloween Lashes – Spooky, styled on a spider’s web to finish off your creepy Halloween eyes for £2.99.

It wouldn’t be Halloween without some witchy nails, would it? Finish off your Halloween make up look by sculpting your nails.

We unleashed our fashion savvy Street Style Squad to find West Lothian’s Style King or Queen. With the help of the West Lothian Courier and armed with six £25 gift cards for The Centre to give away, the Street Style Squad were on the hunt for six stylish shoppers to model the latest trends and showcase their new purchases.
Thanks to our loyal Facebook followers, Natalie Whitson, who turned The Centre into her own glamorous catwalk, was voted June’s Street Style Queen – and quite rightly so! The 35-year-old mum of two from Livingston was in The Centre shopping with her children who had just broken up from school for the summer holidays.
She said: “I come down to The Centre, Livingston quite a lot. I saw this baby pink blazer from Miss Selfridge, which was half price in the sale for just £20. I love the colour and have lots of clothes this colour, so it’s a good piece that will go really well with my outfits.”
With the rain pouring down outside it’s hard to believe the summer season is in fact in full swing. We are coveting relaxed tailored silhouettes in soft colours, contrasted with almost autumnal shades like blues, rust and black. By getting the basic shapes and colours right you’ll have endless stylish options to see you though whatever the weatherman throws at you, as well as whatever occasion life tosses your way. We love Natalie’s choice of blazer from Miss Selfridge, located in Debenhams, which is a wardrobe staple for every woman in every season.
Local contestant Joanna Martin (34) from Livingston demonstrated her speedy shopping skills at our Summer Dash on Thursday 23rd July 2015.
We put a call out on Facebook to find three contestants to take part in our Summer Dash. Armed with a suitcase and a £100 gift card, each contestant was given a shopping list of 15 items that they had to buy in under an hour. The contestant who was back first with all 15 items won an extra £100 gift card to spend at The Centre, Livingston.
Joanna raced round the shops in a speedy 22 minutes and purchased all 15 items on her shopping list for just £49.85. Not only did she keep her suitcase and all her shopping items, she bagged herself a £100 gift card to spend at The Centre to help her get ready for her summer holiday.
“I saw a few people like the call out post for contestants on The Centre’s Facebook page and thought – I’m on holiday, I’ll give it a go. I’m going to Santa Posa in October with 27 people all from my immediate family – we’re quite a big family!
“I know exactly where all the shops are here at The Centre, so I just ran. I feel great winning the competition today and I just love the suitcase. I’m going to spend the £100 gift card on more clothes for my summer holiday.”
In second place was Lisa Neil (27) from Pumpherston who whizzed round the shops in 27 minutes, missing just one item from her shopping list. She spent £63.45 of her £100 budget. Third runner up was contestant Zoe Roberts (26) from Bathgate who returned with her suitcase filled to the brim after 40 minutes, with 14 items purchased for £69.99.
The runners-up got to keep their suitcases filled with the summer essential items they had bought from their shopping lists to help them along for their summer holidays, as well as an additional £30 gift card to spend at The Centre, Livingston.
